 Carol Estes Painting
Includes: An original work by Carol Estes done specifically for Project New Day. Brought up on her families dairies farms in Oregon as well as the Texas Panhandle. From there Carol pursued dual careers in the real estate title business by day and a self taught abstract expressionist by night. She developed her style in her studio in Deep Ellum before exhibiting her early work in the avant guard Stout McCourt Gallery.

Includes: An original work by B.C. Nowlin done specifically for Project New Day. Nowlin attracted praise and criticism in the early 1980s as an iconic maverick, his androgynous, bicycling portraits of Native Americana challenging the classic stereotype. Along with Cannon, Red Star, Singer, Schoeder and Pletka, Nowlin is recognized as one of the avatars of the New West. Nowlin's works have been featured in various media and have had exhibited in places as diverse as the Grandberg museum in Stockholm, the Museum of Iraq in Baghdad, and the Presidential Palace of Costa Rica.
